SEwakenosnowforu
We got rain but lastnight but still...the air seemed so stable. How do we not get t storms after so many days of high heat and sun? Things just seem not so typical around here. Normally we would see at least some lightning and heavy downpours even after 11pm. Horrible spring so far. gman
We are up to 1.43” so far. Decided to open our windows and not turn on the tv this morning. Been listening to the beautiful sounds of the rain, birds chirping, and the light breeze bringing music from the chimes. God is blessing us with His voice through nature. Doesn't get any better.

olafminesaw
I gotta say, despite the totals being underwhelming so far, this is the kind of rain you want to bust a drought. Spread over multiple days, coming in batches to soak in effectively, drizzle in between the more moderate rain and little sun/cool temperatures to keep any rainfall from evaporating quicky

GaWx
Maybe I‘m forgetting, but I don’t recall seeing even a drop of rain here since at least May 13th that is until just now. I finally got a few drops (a T) a little while ago and radar suggests I could get some more. But prospects aren’t great for much more this evening. Regardless, things are looking up for the next couple of days and much of the week to come with an overall wet pattern. I’m at only ~1.5” MTD. Thus, I had recently resumed watering regularly.
