It was warm 17°C/64F in the morning then it fell to 5C by 4:00 p.m. Today its dark and raining and far colder than forecast at 5C. The nightmare just goes on. This is worse than any period in the winter because there was all that snow on the ground to reflect more light and in general there was more sun. The brightness even when it was overcast was higher so the sustained level of low lux is deviant - which is how I'm starting to feel. Looking at the 7 day makes me want to puke!! 

I'm getting an outlandish amt of rain too, somewhere around 70mm/3" this week.

You put into words my exact sentiment of how this spring has rolled up here to date. One or two days of sun with AN temps just to crash back into 10 days of winter or near winter and endless streaks of gloom. And now a white Easter to kick the nuts again.

Happy Easter all! We have been getting off and on rain every day here. Nothing heavy, but I've tallied 1.27" the past 5 days (0.84 of it yesterday) which has rapidly caused the grass to grow and become emerald green and the trees to bud.

Today, we may get a passing Easter rain OR snow shower.

Spring has yet to arrive in Marquette County.  There's been a handful of days above freezing but no real significant thaw weather to speak of.  Snowpack is about as dense as it gets with 16-18 inches Liquid locked in. A shot of colder air this evening into tomorrow could yield 4-6 inches locally.  Looking ahead, snow is probably not done but maybe big storms are.
