There are subtle differences at H5 the last several runs wrt the shortwave energy moving in from the west and the vorticity to the north- which impacts the exact location of the cold HP to the north. Yeah, we cant know yet.

Yep. Looks looks like a solid 3 to 6 across the area and then has frozen with the wave after. Especially North and West of the metros

The second event sorta merges right into the tail end of the 1st hit on the AI. It does mix or turn to rain with the 2nd one unfortunately.

I know it’s facetious but that 2014 storm it was in the mid 20s and it’s only warmed like 1/2 a degree since then. And the 2018 storm was even more recent and not really that borderline when the snow was falling.

Euro is actually a winter storm of snow changing to sleet and freezing rain. Not sure if i were to call it south....i wish it morph to more precip on the front end
