Life is good. I don't know about getting 6" man...these runs have Baltimore barely at warning level and we need to get lucky with that IVT and get rates and that's a proposition we've lost on many times. We are fortunate to be in the game at all this late in a nina February. BUT...to your other point about the epic glacier? YES. That to me is looking to be the pinnacle of the winter unless something crazy happens tomorrow. That was truly remarkable...a 6.5 inch snowfall paralyzed the city for a week as if it were two feet. Bulldozers required. That is already a HUGE bonus for a Nina. I do need to remember that!

Accordion my to the snow contest totals, BWI can't get more than 13" of additional snow this season. Sorry, that's just how it shakes out.

They just are actually good for sanity. Tonight is a good time to get some rest now that I think of it. Arguably better prep for tomorrow than staring at models until your eyes spiral.

Writing from Lancaster, PA - right in the middle of the county. Tough forecast here but seems NWS has it about correct at 6-12" but could still boom or bust depending on the western edge of the deformation band early Monday. Our low guidance is about 6" Euro and high is about 16-20" on short range NAM/RAP/HRRR. The latter three all rotate bands deep into PA as the storm bombs out. Hope you DC-Balto folks get your snow. Seems a broad 3-8" but lots of boom or bust scenarios down that way as well. First obs: 31.3 here, dpt29. Clear skies. Will prob climb late with some mixing and cloud cover. oh thank God. i have been fretting all day not knowing what the weather was going to be in Pennsylvania.

Demeter
Yeah, I wish I was going to see more snow, but this is a fun one to watch evolve. I’m excited to see what kind of beast this storm turns into.

And then as soon as I think about taking a break the NAM does that! DANG it, hahaha 1
PrinceFrederickWx
Excuse my ignorance, but what does “getting Raleigh’d” mean? I keep seeing this phrase on here now- seems to mean getting screwed out of snow somehow?
