Kay
A place to share photos of the late January snowpack, of hopefully more snows to come, and of our mid-Atlantic winter scenery in general! Photographers and non-photographers welcome. Beautiful art shots and sooty parking lot piles, it's all good. Here is a shot of the Bush River, covered in ice and snow. 15

Sneakily replying to this here . Ice looking good! Turkey Pt and that whole peninsula is one of my favorite spots around NE MD. Just was out for maybe an hour trying to take some pics. T. August Posted yesterday at 09:01 PM Share Posted yesterday at 09:01 PM Walked 2 miles on the inlet/Bay today. Never seen anything like it in my lifetime. Ice was about 6” thick in most places. Aberdeen Proving Ground on the right, Battery Island barely visible on the left.
nw baltimore wx
I did a full moon cemetery walk last night. I only took my gloves off a couple of times because it was so blustery and cold.

I don't know if people would use it (especially if current bitterness persists ) just sayin lots of great photos of the pack and frozen area waters being posted in different threads. It would be nice to be able to look through later. I'm a pack/ice freak, though. That is one thing this winter has given.

Oftentimes I’m cross posting my pictures between obs threads and the severe weather thread come spring.
