Up here in Paris, we got 5 inches sleet/snow combo, which is very compacted. Also, we got probably  .10 to .25 inch ice. Not bad winter storm. Im ready for another opportunity lol

Unfortunately a long night ahead.  The winds are bringing trees down here. Neighbor lost whole top of his.  Tore his fence down also.

North wind picking up here in southern Morgan county. Front has arrived at the edge of the plateau. Most of my ice is gone from power lines and trees thankfully

Stopped snowing here around midnight. Had around 1.5" of snow/sleet. ZR kicked in around 2am, was forecast to stop around 6am with a high of 43 today. It didn't change over to all rain until around 3pm today. The temp stayed right around 33 up until this afternoon, now it's around 36. My cousin who lives 2 hours to the northwest of me has 6 inches of snow.

Amazing how all that was dripping is now frozen solid.  Iceberg here.

Light drizzle/mist here currently..not good for area roads tonight

Not a ton of moisture to work with, but NAM soundings along the mountains and foothills actually look decent for a switch to some light snow starting late tonight/early morning after the 850mb temps drop below -10C. DGZ basically just above the surface and inversion potentially trapping moisture.

Looks like the cold is on oak ridge headed this way. Light rain here currently

Sounding is still saturated to 700 mb. Takes some time to dry out when it was up to 400 mb. I'm thinkin' some under the radar snow showers in parts of our region.

My other thought locally is freezing drizzle with super-cooled water droplets. Everything about -5 no dendrites but freezing drizzle. I made the call that cold chasing rain in Chattanooga would dry out.

If not it's literally the first time in my LIFE that doesn't verify. Well sh!t everything else about this storm was whacked!

Been almost constant light rain here for last couple hours (no radar returns). If it had been this consistent last night icing would have been bad. Cold front moved thru about 30 mins ago, temp dropping quickly now.

There’s a lot of low level trapped moisture currently 32 freezing drizzle and fog. The morning commute could be a nightmare!
