Blowtorch may be coming up from the south from Cumberland Gap, gonna push snow north…maybe WNC/Eastern TN and points north see mostly snow and higher elevations get some decent snow…but most of NC will be dealing with an IP/ZR deal.  All those high snow totals will probably be north of the Ark/TN/NC borders.  Then all this will lock in for a bit with these lows coming in.  Lots of lights out between Cherokee and Mebane along 40.  But, just my opinion.  Been a great ride folks! Yup.. at 60 there were already some significant changes. By 72 heights are screaming. You could also see Baja low starting to tilt neutrally here. I honestly haven’t even looked at surface yet because upper levels don’t lie.

Not sure where you are seeing that. WRAL is showing it switching over to plain rain.
