Next few weeks look brutally hot. Obviously this is likely overdone but shows the potential for how hot it could get later this month.

9 days straight without rainfall here and, coupled with the heatwave, it has rapidly dried out. Maybe we get in on the MCV action tonight. SPC Bumped it to a level 2 for western half of the state tonight

Summer wants to make it clear that although it doesn't want to see us all completely parched and dying of thirst, that doesn't mean it suddenly likes us.
