EarlGrey
It doesn’t “look” like it’s going to rain tonight. My yard is looking like hay and the ground is cracked. I’m not watering it anymore!

From FFC for 3 systems including today’s: 7 DAY RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE FORECAST TO BE BETWEEN 1.5-2.25" NORTH OF I-85, WITH PROGRESSIVELY DIMINISHING AMOUNTS TO THE SOUTH AND EAST, DOWN TO ABOUT 0.5" IN EAST-CENTRAL GEORGIA. LOCALLY HIGHER TOTALS WILL BE POSSIBLE WHERE STRONGER STORMS OCCUR. INCREASING SURFACE PRESSURE AND DRIER AIR WILL SET UP OVER THE SOUTHEAST ON THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY

Zero point zero today. I bet we get absolutely nothing the next week too. I literally watch the radar, and 20 miles to my west the rain just disappears. I'm so done with this crap. We literally have had maybe 2 Inches of rain the last 4 months. This is insane. Oak trees are looking bad. Yellow leaves, and staring to drop leaves

For most of SE, Tue night/Wed system looks wettest overall.

suzook
Latest GFS showing lots of precip the ATL area the next week. One can dream. I'd be happy with a quarter of what it's showing at this point.
bckhd2
Got 0.12" in ATL metro Saturday. FFC mentions multiple rounds of rain coming this week but also said models may be underrepresenting dry conditions and most won't see much more than an inch.

suzook
I still think the area south of ATL gets F'd again. The moisture just disappears whenever it gets close. I've seen it way too many times the last 9 mos.
NorthHillsWx
Tough forecast this weekend but could be a very soaking rain wherever the low tracks. Could be a large area of 1-2” with some higher amounts. Models bouncing around but someone likely gets a beneficial rain. Wednesday looks a little drier, maybe similar to this past weekend’s rainfall
UnionCountyNCWX
Well what a surprise we have this morning. Not adding up to much yet in CLT, but thats better than the 0 that was forecasted for this AM. Lets see what happens tomorrow too.
SUNYGRAD
Nice to see more typical products popping up in NC, but also in big portions of the SE. Of course, lighter rains would be more beneficial.

UnionCountyNCWX
Brad P mentioned the possibility of very isolated strong/severe storms tomorrow. Obviously dont care for damage or anything, but im honestly craving a good evening thunderstorm.
NorthHillsWx
Models are really drying up for central NC tomorrow. Keep in mind this area missed the rain this morning and generally had just 1/2” last weekend

Haven't seen rain like this in at least 6mos. Currently at 1.1 inches so far since yesterday. Looks like a decent amount still heading this way! NorthHillsWx
The AFD from RAH reads like “Rain will split the area today with very light amounts. Maybe an isolated storm this evening. Saturday has trended further south with the low. Amounts have decreased as well”. Going to see an expansion of the extreme drought in this area, despite the pattern change. Does look like Georgia and South Carolina see repeated beneficial rains but NC has dried out a lot on modeling
NorthHillsWx
Just like that we went from an 80% chance of rain to 40% on point click.
