Looks like we finally got some bands of precip to fill in. Though it’s still weirdly convective like with narrow bands.

That said I think that the current band orientation may save myself and nyc from a proper all out failure of less than 3in to hitting the extreme low end range of conservative forecasters.

4.3 in NYC. Over 9 in some of the Northern suburbs.

There actually was ocean effect snow for parts of LI. That’s a real thing. As for nyc, Central Park recorded 4.3”. On the lower end of what they expected but not a total catastrophe.

Roads seem fine but everything else is pretty icy IMBY. Deck/grass is all ice. Poor dogs were sliding their way out to the yard this morning

This was really moisture starved for our area. Most stations reporting less than .10.  Ended up being largely a non issue for most.

It's their first 4+ snowfall in several years, so I am happy for them.  I root for everyone to get snow as long as it doesn't directly steal from MBY which is not usually an issue.
