Yeah usually you don’t want a storm to move in later because the later it moves in, you always lose some QPF. Nothing but flurries in NYC. Accumulating snow to the east and west though.

Most of the more reliable guidance didn't bring the significant snow into the area prior to midnight.

I was gonna say most of what I've seen doesn't get the bulk of precip in here until the early morning hours.

Its not supposed to fully start until after midnight.

RRFS is still going gangbusters, warning event for LI and Monmouth, close for the city, and advisory event for just about all except far northern areas. It'll be a good test tomorrow to see how it ends up. Other modeling still a good event but slightly more tame overall.
