I just got to Palmyra for my daughter’s indoor softball league game & the main roads appeared to be fine, however, there was a major accident on the west bound side of 322 outside of Harrisburg towards Hummelstown. There was a tractor trailer on its side. There were police & fire trucks on the scene & responding. I will likely be taking a different route home, because I imagine it will take awhile to clear that area.

if you are venturing out, please be careful. Roads are getting slick!

.3” here with neighborhood roads all completely covered. I love these events where the snow falls very lightly for hours upon hours in a cold airmass and eventually overtakes everything. All to add a few tenths to the books ha. Love it.

You got wayyy more (very relative, I realize :) )than I did. Nothing is covered here other. Just a trace on car window trim.

Here in Carlisle, just before 7:30pm...it continues to snow lightly with mostly fine flakes mixed with some larger ones as well.  It's been snowing steadily for the past 4 hours or so.  Everything is coated in white...including my main street (which is a cul-de-sac).  I just took a measurement from my board, and I'm just about up to 0.4".  It even continues to snow when the radar has no echoes directly overhead.  So, it's better than it seems.  Oh, I almost forgot...the temperature is currently 25.3 degrees F with a dew point of 22.  I had pretty much given up on today when I got up this morning.  So, it's been a bit of a nice surprise to have the flakes falling again.

Wow that’s crazy, everything white here. As @anotherman mentioned looks like we have another batch moving our way. Perhaps a squall from the front in the cards.

To say it's brutal outside is an understatement.  Temperature dropped 10 degrees in the past 3 hours.

I have a good view of State Street (Rt 722).  Lots of blowing snow and what traffic there is are crawling.  Beware if you're going out.

I’ve been happy with MDT’s measurements this season so far, but I’m a bit puzzled by their measurement yesterday. They recorded .02 of precip but only recorded  .1 of snow, despite temperatures well below freezing.
It doesn’t matter much in the grand scheme of things, but, for example if we end up sitting at 29.9 of snow for the season, that could have been the tenth of snow to push us to the 30 mark.

These little events all add up & details matter…

I had a coating which I believe goes down as ..1” so it lines up.
