I’m hanging at 29. We just walked home from the neighbor’s and my god it’s a pure ice sheet out there, and yes we saw a few mangled flakes mixed in as well. Luckily it seems most people are staying off the roads.

I saw several close calls and spinouts on my walk down to New Cumberland . Everything looks good down on 83 N  and S from the overpass at mile marker 388  but 114 Lewisbarry road in New Cumberland is not in good shape at all In places.

I’d look for lingering freezing drizzle a good part of the overnight after the main precip moves out in the next couple hours, something CCX radar might not necessarily see down that way. 

 

That’s the point I’m at as well.  Steady light freezing drizzle, 23 degrees.  I can pretty much walk on top of the sleet on my patio, trees accumulating ice.  Clean up is going to be a mess.

In weather news, just changed to 70/30 snow/sleet. Decent sized flakes at that. Whitening up pretty good out there.
