My foggy memory says February 89 too

Ahhh the Feb 89 debacle. Sophomore in high school. Schools shut down night prior in anticipation. Me and my buddy split a quarter of some good afghani bud. Started walking around the town 8AM. By 11AM we thought maybe we were both just really stoned but there wasnt a snowflake to be had and sun was poking thru. Stopped off for pizza at noon and the workers said we dodged one but the shore was getting hit. Mega pissed. We smoked the rest of our stash and enjoyed our day off, but it was still a huge letdown.

I almost got more rain this morning (0.30") than the total of the last 3 "events" (in quotes - 0.18", 0.25", 0.03" ). Rates got as high as about 1/4" per hour.

Total for the month so far is 0.76".  Bottomed out just before 9 am at 53 and had hit my high (so far) around 2:15 am.

Currently drizzle and mist, with temp 54, and dp 53.

Here in East Nantmeal we have picked up 0.13" of rain so far today. This brings our 3-day total to 0.32" with steady but light rain still falling. Some models have up to another 0.25" to 0.50" of additional rain before the chances of showers start to diminish tomorrow. Temperature wise we should be well below normal levels for mid-October with highs in most spots in the low to mid 50's, Tomorrow we should see the warmest day of the work week with temperatures into the mid to upper 60's. We then see another cool down through the rest of the week. By Friday morning we look to see low temperatures in the 30's but many of our valley locations already saw their first freeze last week. The higher spots look to continue their growing (freeze free) season into November which has been typically the case for elevations above 600 feet across Berks and Chester Counties .

.09” on the event so far and I’ll honestly be shocked if we finish with more than .25”. Have had some drizzle this morning, actually more than yesterday though. Winds are still gusting though doesn’t seem as bad as last night. If this was snow it would of been March 01 all over again.
