NE Queens and NW Nassau are probably going to get flood warnings in 20 or so minutes.  It's pouring in Great Neck and the line isn't moving at all.

I just went through it and the drops were the size of silver dollars.

But it's finally pulling away slowly.

I'm glad that cell in Queens/Nassau is literally a few blocks to my east and it just barely pulled away from me.

I'm still on the edge and I am getting random little bursts but a mile east of me is catastrophic.

Stay on the edge, streets have nice size rivers of runoff going down them.  I'm sure the usual poor drainage areas are flooded.

Can the immediate South shore LI possibly get screwed over again? NS is cranking right now

Not one drop where I am. And of course. HRRR pretty much has this spotty stuff here where one place gets 3” and a mile away 3 drops. South Jersey Alley gets crushed again as the storm activity over NJ consolidates there.

Same here. Hanging hopes that this is not just a frontal passage, which usually screws us

Although Upton has slowly been lowering total precipitation for us

Ridiculous, but I guess you can understand our area being extra nervous after having the incredibly bad luck of having 2 of our worst storms ever in a week and a half period earlier this month.

Not sure it's bad luck, I'm sure there's a meteorological reason why the same area gets hit multiple times.  Your microclimate is better for that kind of thing than ours is obviously.
