the trolling is weird.

This summer has been the equivalent of a "good" winter!  And looks to get even better with more sustained HHH, and severe chances here and there.  Also need to consider that mid July- Aug. the westerlies are relatively weak and continue to shrink further north, plus we'll probably be on the NE/E side of any death ridge - maybe some ring of fire-esque type stuff as we go deep into July/early Aug.

Three straight days of below normal temperatures and they're talking about how hot it is. Can't make this stuff up.

Yeah it was January 10th and highs in the 40's.  In winter that's 50's/60's, embrace it

sun angle is going in the right direction now and days are getting shorter  even with being below normal in snowfall here winters are still pretty good

Yeah winter is the same way, the snow doesn't get going until the sun angle is WAY WAY up.  Besides the exceedingly rare early-season big 'uns

What happened to the saying “it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity”?

Real feel of 83°?  Most people consider that pleasant for a midsummer's Day. Alaskans may be complaining that it's too hot but not many others.
