I got screwed because new cells popped up ahead of the line and slowed me down so much I couldn’t get ahead. It caught up. Derecho chasing is just impossible. I wish I'd been able to stay awake for the whole storm, it sounded really windy too. Hoping tonight will be a repeat, especially with such a high dewpoint (74 degrees at 10pm!).
