Cant figure out how to get this video to upload but here's a link to FB. About 8PM in Boone last night. At 7pm there was barely a dusting. Picked up nearly 3" in an hour from this band. Photo is from 421 outside of town.

Back in Balsam, 19 degrees in a winter wonderland with flurries flying.  Most consistent measurement is a touch over 3” so that’s what I’m going it.  Puts me at 6”+ for the year which is already more than half of what we ended up with last year. Wonderful Christmas scenery!AE2B356A-3967-499F-A7E5-2CDF8119DFC7.jpeg.7b5f67cb0404abc18292886dad661d83.jpeg0743C4FD-8F4C-434D-917C-E2EAF97D3100.jpeg.fc55042d71a78f550a80d0e6594c9fb0.jpeg96EF93C4-8C2E-4727-A788-B7099143658C.jpeg.d359e8a6a4c8c8742f0c2b558d2c0e75.jpeg

Drove up to Blowing Rock to have a White Christmas this early afternoon. Sunny and 28 in Lenoir but snow squalls and 13 in Blowing Rock, a short 10 miles away. Roads were pretty bad up there too. It's amazing the difference in weather in that short distance.

30 back here at home in Hickory, which is an incredibly cold temp for 3 PM in the afternoon under full sun.

Merry Christmas to all!
