because as standard practice, watches/warnings/advisories are always in a time frame that is longer than the possible threat. its just normal practice

I think the TOR tag on that one is really precautionary.  Looks nothing like it did before.

Base velocity.  Green is toward the radar, red is away.  Ignore everything else.  What you are looking for is a small spot where the greens and reds are enhanced and right next to each other (the couplet, as many call it).

Looks like this thing is donzo, especially if that final line near Winchester is just standard stuff like a poster above alluded to. Given some of the parameters we saw leading up to this storm, it looked like some of the official forecasts were way underdone. Maybe they knew something we didn't looking at those models and parameters, cause it busted in about every single way possible. Shocking there won't even be any synoptic wind.
