had gone to almost all sleet in Wilmington in the last heavy band, and we are now back to mod snow

edit: pings on my windows, but i'd say about 95% snow

Pretty much the same here. Measured 4.2", not sure what's next, radar is thinning out to the south. 28.4F currently. Fwiw traffic cleared up a bit.

I figured a half an inch then a little sleet and rain would wash it away. This took me by surprise, I didn't even get the leaves raked up yet.

Lol here we now have leaves on top of the snow, the wind shook a bunch of sweet gum leaves loose.

Looks like a quick moving "bubble" of warmer air aloft is coming through with sleet.

You're probably correct....It's almost back to all snow. Big flakes..

Had a brief period of those pancake flakes, now back to moderate snow with smaller flakes. I can hear a little bit of sleet from time to time. Still 27F. I think there's about 3" on top of the A/C unit out back.

Hrrr continues to slowly push the change to plain rain back later each run for this area. I'm starting to doubt plain rank ever makes it aside from some drizzle overnight then another transition back to a brief but heavy snow/sleet thump right around sunup tomorrow.
