Allentown/Queen City airport just started to report snow.

And what time did the nam project them to flip?

Also,

is it not true that if the change had happened sooner than modeled it would have indicated that the cold air was pressing in harder and therefore may have been more likely to shunt the snow to the southeast away from our area earlier...

therefor reducing total snow accumulations?

Very light snow here, big flakes. Heavy returns on us over the radar? What's the deal? It is such a low ratio paste that it barely falls?

Melting flakes reflect a lot more radar beam than rain or non-melting snow.

It ought to be all snow in ABE now.  Its taking its time...  XLL went back to rain, ABE is mixed right now.  It *might* suggest what you imply, it would benefit northern areas more.
