Quakertown needs snow

E PA/NJ/DE/Oak Hill Banter/Non Storm OBS thread

Been pretty windy here, don't know exact speeds, but it's shaken all these walnuts loose since Thursday. Bumper crop for this tree this year....

Your squirrels will be happy!

My 20 year old Magnolia has red berries this year for the first time that I can remember. Looks nice but not sure why it produced them.

Interesting rocket launch 7pm EDT this evening from Virginia. Barium Strontium to be released to make glowing clouds.

Clouds conditions are dicey of course looks like a 50/50 chance for good viewing.

Of course not a cloud in the sky at least outside the office in Trenton.

Looks like a Tornado warning just north of Philly. Is that a BOW Echo?

Just got in and beat the rain and immediately pulled up a doppler and said the same thing!  Lot of rockin' and rollin' and heavy downpours initially but the initial heavy stuff seemed to move through pretty quickly.

The storm was pretty uneventful around here, too. The tornado warning was just to my south. Some heavy down pours but not much wind.

Unreal stuff in Collegeville... lightning strikes every 10 seconds, had to pull over trying to drive the rain was so heavy. We had a tornado warning, and I know there were a few trees down near Spring Ford HS but can't confirm a tornado

Nada here. That line got going just a few miles to my east. Went for my evening walk and could see some flashes in the distance from those cells over NJ.
