I see nothing but endless stars over head but MVL shows some clouds...definitely some ground fog developing in the open fields though. Lots of dew on the cars and grass, but nothing frozen yet. Need a couple more degrees till the car tops may be able to solidify a bit. Most of the planting beds at area hotels and businesses along Mountain Road though were covered...they know the flowers are going to die sometime soon, but with the fall tourist season coming on, every business likes to keep the landscaping nice for as long as possible. I noticed MMNV1 was between 34-37F this evening, and as long as we don't have a strong WAA pattern in place and radiational cooling conditions are decent, we can usually get down to the the summit temps..and if conditions are really favorable we'll go below that level.
