Crazy heavy rain in the central Greens judging by the echoes not moving, lol.

2.18" now at Middlebury Airport. I bet some of those east slopes between MPV and RUT are getting hit hard.

Never rained on us at the golf course, I was surprised. It just seemed to sit over MPV for a good part of the afternoon.

Only 0.05" at my place, and it came about 4 PM - the evening action never got here. August has been an odd month rain-wise. I've had 15 days with measurable rainfall; the storm of 13-14 dumped 2.62" while the other 13 rain days totaled all of 0.79". Yesterday's 1/20th inch shower fit right into the pattern. So far this month I've recorded no days 80+ nor minima 60+, and only 3 CDD. This coming Mon-Wed probably the last chance to change those items.

I guess I wasn't paying too much attention to the forecasts but I was not expecting the near constant light rain that we've had all afternoon. Pretty miserable overall.

I want expecting multiple days of ugliness...luckily today is clearing up. But yeah, certainly not paying attention as much these days to the forecast, but that was an ugly couple days.

I don't know about everyone here but it sure hasn't felt like summer. We are still running below average in the temperature department. A boat load of rain (granted in quick hits) but still feels weird. The ridge trough pattern from Winter has stuck around. It took a 2.5 month vacation but that's about it. Western displaced negative NAO isn't helping either. Ugh I like a really warm summer especially coming off this last winter.
