N Franklin Co. had some heavy rains but thunder and lightning (outside of a few decent claps) did not impress.  Winds were almost non-existent.  Just under 1" so far today.  Line in E. NY looks to be weakening so maybe FFW cancel out here. 

 

Can't complain b/c we've had a few ripping t-storms this year (as we do every year) but none the less some wasted potential out here the past 2 days.

This is some serious rain.... 6.06"/hr

 

If you hear of any flooding, don't forget to report it to your friendly neighborhood NWS office! I think it's going to be the second batch of intense rainfall here in the next hour that pushes us into the flash flood category.

Good call on extra staff. The models were an absolute soaking overnight no matter what the verbatim solutions were. By 12z they were giving a dumping of rain in some shape or form.
