When I do measure, it consistently comes up short when compared to other reports. A decent open area within the trees should be fine. I mean, if you are completely forested, that's one thing... but some open space should be adequate. The size of, say, a smallish yard. Went outside to shovel around the cars and it is some heavy snow for shoveling! Took these pics around 10-10:30 this morning. Bamboo is getting a little bendy.
