Not sure where we are at now...all i know is we had such a slow accumulation all day and since about 4pm it has been piling up quickly. This should be my 3rd 8"+ storm of the winter and its not yet mid-January. THAT is CRAZY! DTW wont get the totals to the north, but this is an example of the ingredients coming together just right (frontal boundary stalled and storm rode up).

Took some vid but will upload tomorrow.

All Snow in Waterloo ON, almost like a fine mist falling (reminds me of Vancouver drizzle) but definitely frozen. Location is hop skip and long jump from Hal (Lexington and Bridge)

Welcome to the forum. Always nice to have another member from Southern Ontario.

And interesting. Looks like you"ll stay as snow through out the night.

Eh, I didn't want my flight to be canceled anyways.

Congrats on your blizzard (or near blizzard). Might have to hold all of us for a while.

Win win then. And thanks. Safe travels back to Edmonton.

Thought that sea of 30dbz+ headed towards me was PL. Instead...+SN!

In my pjs but don't care. Going outside to lose myself in it.

:D

Lights flickered here several times this afternoon as the wind started cranking it was a little unnerving to say the least.

I can relate.... we were like the only block still with power when the ice storm went through last month. It's definitely a "walking on eggshells" scenario.
