3 hrs of very light rain/drizzle that amounted to nothing except effin over chilling & grilling out this evening.   Inches of rain all around here..  Moving out of this weather armpit location can't come soon enough.

Dude, I'm guessing there are few places with better variety of weather then south cheese land.

Milwaukee has a pretty good variety of all season weather. One thing if you like winter though, being close to the lake early in the season will slash your snowfall totals, but you can get it back sometimes with LES.

I'd like to be to the west of Milwaukee were they seem to catch more winter storms than around here.

Anyway, mid 60s now with breezy conditions out of the northeast.

Just remember streaks do end be it good or bad. Thus if you are moving keep that in mind when you do. Good luck with it.

Decent storms moving in with some more heavy duty rains per radar.

Wednesday morning looks like it will be quite cool. High pressure overhead and 850mb temps dropping to around 8C,  widespread mid 50's are possible. Decent NE fetch will probably prevent winds from decoupling near the lake, however.

Managed to escape the rains today.  Neighborhood grass has fired pretty nicely over the last week or so with all the heat and lack of rain.  Very nice to see after the ridiculously wet spring and early summer.  This hot and dry stretch of weather has been a nice change of pace compared to the cool and soggy stretch leading up to it.

EDIT:  Spoke too soon.  It's freaking pouring out right now.

EDITX2:  Picked up 0.98" in the last 20 minutes.  Guess ol' ma nature wanted to show me what's up.  Just a full-on deluge right now from a tiny little cell that popped up out of nowhere.

EDIT 3:  1.17".  Looks like mowing is in the near future again.

Very solid soaker overnight/early this morning...lightning and thunder woke me up. Area totals below:

Lafayette 2.2 S: 1.73"

Lafayette 2.2 NE: 1.55"

LAF: 1.34"

Did pickup some nice rain here this morning, by the time I got down to Indy it was high and dry.

Delayed, but not denied?

0z MEX has min temps for LAF of 53º for Wednesday and 54º for Thursday.

Granted it seems to run cool on mins for LAF, so...

We could see something like that. 850 mb temps get down to 10-12C (even cooler if you buy the NAM) and surface high looks favorably positioned especially on Thursday, so I'd pick Thursday as the cooler morning at this point.

At 80° now with mostly cloudy skies. Had fog issues this morning after all the rain yesterday.

Something you don't see often during the summer: high waves forecasted for Lake MI.

What an amazing end to summer that would be!!! And the cfs also showing a COLD winter too. Never seen it that cold that far out!

Would love some days were it's around 70° and mostly cloudy. Get a break from the blazing sun.

79/73 here right now. Can't wait to get rid of these 70° dewpoints!

Ended up with 1.37" from this 5 mile wide mini cell.  My brother 6 miles to the northwest didn't get a drop.  Wasn't a single flash of lightning with it either.  Was kind of weird seeing it pour so hard with zero thunder.

Made it to 87 today.  Grass has greened up big time.

Agree. Whats funny is....the first 10 days of the month Detroit saw almost no sun. Im almost positive it was the cloudiest start to July on record. Yet a heatwave and plenty of humidity later, I am already ready for another break from the summer sun.
