SACRUS
The ECM control run was close brings system off of NCVA coast and out. Some marginal temps, but the right track could do it.
wolfsheepsheadbay
just saw it! Yup, precip maxes in many of the same place as today. Taking into account GFS dry bias, this is a MECS. Period.

wolfsheepsheadbay
Does euro have it ? No, but has taken some steps towards GFS. The GFS is locked in much like the Euro was last week. Can't discount it simply for that reason. Oh, also, the NAM is on board and the SREFs are close.

SR Airglow
Here we go again... GFS and NAM both warning snows here, and the fact that the GFS is just locked into this makes me think it's trying to get some of it's credibility back after the shellacking it took with this one. Watching very closely. -skisheep

Isotherm
Game still on for mid week. Much less complex scenario here, pure southern stream low with bombing potential on the coast. Rather than 978mb level contamination issues it will be your more typical dynamic driven snow potential. Depending upon the intensity of course, it might begin as rain but the precip output should be juicy once again. Tropical forcing really pulling through for us here. Though the H5 setup on the 84 hr NAM does look decent...would like to see the Euro come on board today

Zir0b
GGEM is out to sea...if it wasn't for that northern stream kicker right on the heels of the VD wave the low would've moved up the coast

Kaner587
Euro trended towards the GFS. A close miss. the key is the orientation and speed of that kicker. If its modeled too fast and too far south, then the result is more like the GFS. Not sure which model would do better with this. GFS tends to do really well with pure miller a's
