I've never seen a winter windstorm like this one, intensity wise. Highest gust is 64mph, though the station is somewhat protected by a Large White Oak tree to the West of it. MN Transplant Posted February 25, 2011 Share Posted February 25, 2011 Walked the dog and took some damage shots, but w/o power can't upload. Nice sized coniferous tree down a few houses down from us. The violent tug of the wires snapped the top of the nearest pole. Probably sat. before it gets fixed per dominion.
