  1. I work in downtown Allentown, which is on the edge of heavier rains and it's just lightly raining now. My educated guess is that Stroudsburg/Poconos have gotten hit harder. Probably 2 inches of rain at my house the last 24 hours, just south of the Poconos.
  2. Out in Eastern PA we've been pouring almost all day, power out since 7am. Definitely don't need any additional rains.
  3. I'm in Easton, PA, and cars/parking lot are getting covered with a very light powder.
  4. Lightning and heavy rain in Nazareth PA. 36 degrees.
  5. Short term, significant rain (even showery) will hopefully ease the danger from fires.
  6. But we did get 8 minutes of rain this morning.
  7. My family has a house in the Punta Gorda area, and it appears the storm surge was only 1+ foot higher than that experienced in Helene less than 2 weeks ago. If that's true (and with thousands still likely flooded in Charlotte County), many people dodged a bullet.
  8. Absolutely spectacular sunset in Nazareth, PA tonight - 75 miles due west of NYC.
  9. They should put up Winter Storm Warnings for Lehigh and Northampton Counties. Well over half a foot up near Nazareth and still pounding.
  10. Light snow in Nazareth (10 miles NE of Allentown) and picking up.
  11. Certain posters here seem to care more about "told you so" instead of analysis and commentary. For people like me who are trying to learn and be informed, it makes this forum close to unreadable.
  12. The top of my car was frosty in Nazareth PA (75 miles due west of NYC).
  13. More incoming for parts of the Lehigh Valley and western NJ after a brief break.
  14. Looks like you missed again barely, all the activity just to your north by 5-10 miles.
  15. Mostly missing us, but last night was something we have not experienced in years. Looks more active south, west and north today.
  16. More rain in Nazareth PA to begin Sunday. We got slammed between 5 and 9pm last night. Just relentless rain and t-storms. Florida-type weather. Hope y'all who need the rain get it
  17. Torrential downpours and lightning in Easton PA area last couple hours.
  18. Crazy 45 seconds or so in Allentown, PA. Now back to blue skies.
  19. For what it's worth, steady light/moderate snow in Allentown, PA - about 75 miles due west of NYC.
  20. Flash of lightning at 35 degrees. Nazareth, PA
  21. Some snowflakes mixed in - Nazareth PA, 75 miles west of NYC.
  22. Apparently verified snow in PA northern tier
