  1. Looks like a cap or something between 800 - 900 mb...stuff tries to get up and then just collapses.
  2. Looks like we're getting a blue box later today: https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/md/2020/md0758.html
  3. It seems that for today, we need to look to northern WV and far western MD. Most of the meso models are targeting this spot around 3:00 pm. That seems to be the benchmark.
  4. Hey that's a neato tool. Where can a poster find that on SPC's site?
  5. Td is 71° in Reisterstown.
  6. Bad news for tomatoes and squash and melons. It's shaping up to be a tough year in the garden.
  7. where was this during the winter
  8. Friday reeks of scattered wet microburst, warn-on-4-red-pixels storms.
  9. We should get that warmth in here just in time for Christmas.
  10. WPC 7 day QPF total is less than 1.5" regionwide.
  11. Perhaps I'm being a bit too pessimistic (there's a first), but it seems like temps on MOS are trending down below 80 after tomorrow and the POPs are more in the 50% - 70% chance now instead of the 30% to 50% they were a few days ago.
  12. Rest of the week looks to turn cooler and wetter. Shocker. We might be struggling to get out of the 60s this weekend.
  13. Pleasant Valley Fire Department in Carroll County has a good catch and release lake in front of their fire station.
  14. Replaced the blade, spark plug, filter and drive belt on my Toro mower. Also changed out the oil...it's like a brand new machine.
  15. Starting to think this might be the theme of the summer and we don't see any big heat. We're almost in June and it's been really cold and gloomy overall.
  16. Over performed on temps today. Grids had 78 for Reisterstown and I'm sitting at 82. Farmers are really behind though with cold soil, so we need this warm weather. Corn, squash, pumpkins and melons aren't even planted yet.
  17. We're now in summer...frogs crawling up the back sliding glass door, singing to their hearts delight, and the cats are having a freak out.
  18. 0.5° KDP showing some burts of heavy rain/larger droplets across the state today. Hope we can manage at least a half inch of rain, my tomatoes and marrows really need it.
  19. Since that fluke event in Januar 2016, we've had total suckage during winter in these parts.
  20. After years of dealing with needles killing our back lawn, clogging the pool/gutters, and ruining the deck, we got the approval from our neighbor to remove about 10 large pine trees from the fence line. Hopefully in the next two weeks they will be gone.
  21. BWI, 102° (because of the controversy/climate change conspiracy theory) DCA, 100° IAD, 101° RIC, 100°
