    I'm currently 4 miles east of there and those are some menacing skies.

    Yeah, just saw a ctg lightning hit in the distance up towards the direction of Elizabeth.

    Yeah except now I hear thunder to my right which looks to be the cell about to hit Brooklyn.

    Dark clouds to my left which would be Carteret. Think something is trying to pop there.

    I heard the thunder from the Monmouth one and saw the dark clouds. Winds picked up briefly here.

    I got nicked by the bottom edge of that cell. A few cracks of thunder and a decent downpour. Drove to the Outerbridge and its bone dry with the sun shining.

    Rain mostly stayed away from Yankee Stadium. Only a few periods of a misty drizzle while at the ballpark. Got to enjoy a nice Mets win while staying relatively dry.

    I'm in the same boat as you. I got tickets tomorrow afternoon and have been keeping an eye on the models. Looks like a few storms popped up near the stadium right now.

    Raritan Bay was up to 65 degrees on Saturday.

    We got half that on the south shore. Only .3 inches here.

    The street lights came on my route due to the darkness. I delivered my last house and made it safely into my truck before the skies opened. We got a precip lull here but still plenty of thunder and lightning

    a few rumbles of thunder and now an absolute deluge.

    Hearing thunder here. Looks like its from a cell that is popping up over Elizabeth.
