  1. No you're missing mine. I AGREE with your point about Harbaugh ultimately making to conservative of a decision--as has been his pattern. That is not in question. And yes, there was no input from Lamar because he took himself off the field. He said if he had stayed on the field he woulda told everybody they're going forward (and as before Harbaugh would've gone with that). But you basically accusing Lamar of lying is wild--hard to take that part of your argument seriously. You know he'd never come off the field in that situation unless he was having legit discomfort. And a 30 second timeout would not have fixed that.
  2. Err...you kinda confirmed my point about Lamar's availability on that play by sharing this. Lamar literally said he would've gone for it if jot for the cramp--and Lamar does not lie about stuff, and you know how often he tells Harbs to go for it, lol Think of his history and how much of a competitor he is--if he could go you KNOW he woulda been right out there screaming for them to go for it. That's who he is--so for him not to stay out there you know he wasn't feeling right. And ya want more evidence? Lamar was absolutely LEVELED by a D-lineman the play before and it should've been a flag. I heard that Lamar kinda hobbled off after that. That hit is probably what caused it. So to me, saying "Lamar is covering for his coach" is pure confirmation bias speculation that doesn't match with Lamar's history or character. Now I know you gonna think I'm defending Harbaugh overall but I'm not--so don't misunderstand...I am NOT disagreeing that Harbaugh has issues with game management. I'm sure that's your main point. But I DO disagree with you saying Lamar could've been out there (which is what MY point is). I do not believe he was available. And I also do not believe a 30 second timeout would've been enough time to get Lamar to recover and get back out there that quickly. Now...could they have brought in Cooper Rush and just ran Henry right at 'em? I can kinda understand that argument. Lower success rate because of no Lamar but...maybe.
  3. Lamar wasn't available for that play, btw. He had gotten blown up the play before and came out with cramping. Don't wanna use a timeout there either since you were gonna need those if ya didn't get it (and that likely wouldn't have been enough time for Lamar to get back in there) So without the threat of Lamar and just Henry behind that struggling O-line...ehhhhh that was far less likely to work, imo Lamar said if he had been out there he would've insisted on going for it.
  4. Oh wow I wonder what that feels like
  5. A prediction I'm tempted to make: If the Ravens go one and done in the playoffs Harbaugh will be fired.
  6. Wanna see something even MORE fun?
  7. Yeah I think we have to punt away this season and hope and pray Biscotti finally does what needs to be done. I came into this year skeptical about it being the SB year to begin with--so while it's disappointing it's not surprising!
  8. Mentality. Which goes back to leadership...which goes back to coaching.
  9. Man who would've thought our climo would reach a point where "north and west of the city" was no longer what it used to be, smh South is the place to be apparently Wake me up when @North Balti Zen cashes in. Maybe then that'll mean more of us can get something more substantial that year, lol
  10. So from what I'm reading...basically not much different than we've seen the last 10 years I mean it's becoming the same old story year after year now. Last year was probably the "best" of the 10 years overall...and that was because of prolonged snow cover and areas in the south and east getting decent numbers from the two events we had--rather than there being even a median snow total for the season (at least at bwi). I'm almost ready ignore any tracking until we finally get a year where we can get something like we used to get occasionally.
  11. Hey what has not "jinxing" gotten us the last 10 years anyway? Lol
  12. Need one more for our fantasy team...anybody here play?
  13. How many times have I said Elias needs to go? Now if I were in front office PR why would I say that? Lol It's almost like because I'm not telling Rubenstein to sell the team already, or just am giving him a little more time to see what kind of owner he'll be, that y'all think I'm somehow this blind orange kool-aide drinking or something for the FO. I am not. This really has less to do with Elias other failures and more to do with the question of the organization as whole and the question of their willingness to lock up young talent early. And in this case...this is how I see it: I just disagree with this narrative that the team simply isn't trying. I mean just last year...Boras himself said that the Orioles had been constantly reaching out to him about Gunnar "only every other day". That means there is a desire to extend him, but he turned them down, lol And factually: None of those Boras extensions have been "early" except two: the rest came in arbitration years. In total: It was just 5 Boras players who took extensions before free agency. Now if you wanna argue against facts I can't help ya... Yes he works for the players: But what has history shown us? He wants his players to maximize their value and they follow his lead in that almost every single time. Gunnar has only just started building his star power: The fact of the matter is they'd have to drop like $450-$500 million right now to get him: and only MAYBE would Gunnar and his agent accept that (they might not). He could actually make more if he waits for free agency. I think some of you are vastly underestimating the problem Boras has been and why fans from small market teams all over can't stand him as an agent.
  14. It truly is. See this is the kind of early deal Boras can't stand, lolol So glad to see the effort from the org to extend a young star!
  15. Oh. My. Goodness Ha...SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN BORAS ISN'T THE AGENT????? See this proves it...he is the reason we haven't extended anybody else (especially Gunnar). I was hoping Basallo didn't have him as an agent and thankfully he doesn't, lol
  16. I don't think they're gonna let him get away with doing bare minimum to nothing IF they keep him one more year...unless he's somebody that doesn't care whether he loses his job or not, lol
  17. Let's just hope being on the hotseat forces some change...because if he stays next year WILL be his last year to get it right (hopefully)
  18. Oh heck yeah! Was not expecting this today (was thinking they would wait until September! This is the Orioles saying the equivalent of "HERE! Dang " to everyone screaming for him and Beavers, lol
  19. Oh my gosh y'all he's up here now dang let's just enjoy it P.S. My theory is Elias just likes his young talent in general and would rather win a championship that way than quality FA signings. But it just doesn't work that way and that's the flaw in his philosophy. And IF he gets another chance (I'd rather they move on) he'd better change that or he out!
  20. And also...how about Brandon Frickin' Young with 7.2 perfect innings??? (Darn you Urias--I KNEW that was gonna haopen just as a poke in the eye to Elias who should've kept him, lol). Baseball is a funny game! That was really something! What a way to get your first big league win, lol
  21. Yeah I have concerns about Elias still being here when the new manager is selected--and don't trust him in letting the manager hire his own staff. Everybody but maybe Britton and the other guy (I think his name is Mayer?) has got to go. And you know...Drew French is not a terrible pitching coach either, imo
  22. I still wanna know why the heck the moisture cutoff from Baltimore north during the winter has lasted this long. Like..."north and west of the city" and the usual snowing areas hasn't even been a thing! Something going on this long makes "random chance" difficult to accept. I swear it feels like something in the atmosphere changed because it’s been a literal wall, smh
  23. Nah this is what he does. He is THE hype man of the forum and everybody loves it!
