    This one is legit mixed feelings for me...as the pastor at my current church is retiring and this is her last Sunday (and we were already out for 4 Sundays before this week largely because of the lack of street parking). And the thing is, we have a lot of older folks at the church that get spooked if there are flakes--sticking or non-sticking alike...and they end up canceling. Definitely gotta keep an eye on this.

    Hrm...Was reading in the technical thread that all the improvements in snowfall we've seen on the Euro this evening have been from the IVT. Gotta wonder if that's giving a bit of a hallucination of things trending towards the GFS? (Especially given the 0z appears to be a hold from 18z)

    Yes--I am a professional musician! And funny you mention it...I am going to be accompanying a singer for a black history program she's headlining next Friday evening at the church next to the Senator theater--and I'll be performing a couple solo pieces as well! One by Baltimore's own ragtime/jazz legend Eubie Blake

    Ahhhh the E Minor Prelude I forgot you said you played! (How long?) Awesome piece. Fun fact: That piece inspired some of the first bossa nova artists! You can hear it in the chord progression! Side note: I'd LOVE for something to free me from jury duty on Tuesday, lol

    Well...the 18z Euro made raise half an eyebrow. But just a half! I wanna see 0z...scarred by the other times this winter where it pretends to trend better at 6z or 18z, and it windshield wipers hard back to crap afterward, lol So we shall see...

    It's just hard to fathom the other guidance being THAT wrong. And if this is the worst performance it's gonna be a huge indictment on what has happened...I mean the GFS is gonna lose even more credibility after this if it's wrong.

    Well then good sir...and I mean this respectfully...why do you bother tracking on this forum? If nowcasting is what you rely on...why not just follow that?

    I see. Goodness gracious...that is sad and kind of infuriating. But...it's where we are and unfortunately we see the consequences playing out in real time.

    Why do you say decade? Do you think if we get a friendlier federal climate in a couple years, that would help get things back on track sooner than that?

    Not for me. I saw that run during a break in rehearsal and I was immediately like "Nahhhh not happenin'" so the Euro can't disappoint me much, lol
