  1. Kinda feels like wherever that wall sets up...it ain't budging, lol Don't know how often we get snows when a block (am I calling it the right thing?) flexes that far south. Still time, of course...
  2. Haha Same! Man that dang PV lobe or whatever it was trending stringer and stronger just north of us is burned in my memory...At first I developed a great disdain for confluence, but then I learned (and someone on here quickly told me) that we actually need it in other setups, lol
  3. December 2018 did something to me...I have to filter out a rather visceral reaction to an output like that, lol
  4. But heck yeah...GOOOOOO RAVENS!!!!
  5. Happy Birthday to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart! While Beethoven will ALWAYS be my #1, I truly appreciate Mozart's unique genius. Not only could he do such remarkable musical feats like writing down an entire symphony he heard one time, writing an Ocerture the morning of an opera, or even playing blindfolded with his arms crossed when he was just a child...(like I said, a unique kind of genius, lol), but he created many beloved works of such effortless, almost innocent power and sublimity. Oh had he lived more years! And yet what he did in his brief 36 years left it's mark on classical music. Again, Happy Birthday Mozart!
  6. Really early, but I'm wondering if this is gonna be something we wanna will north but it just runs into a wall (the block?) because it has no room to climb.
  7. So would you agree that this is something that took time to learn? If yes...why not have more patience for those of us younger, less experienced ones still in the learning process of doing this?
  8. Not gonna lie: For a little while I thought you were a poster I wasn't familiar with...did not realize you had changed your name until a few days ago, lol I was like "Oh, somebody else remembered my Beethoven antics!" Hahaha
  9. Hey, that applies to a certain local fanbase in more ways than one
  10. The exact meme I was thinking about, lol Yes indeed
  11. Sure, but remember, it's not how fast you mow...it's how well you mow fast
  12. Only a Ravens fan knows how meaningful this tweet is
  13. I am so glad I was only 10 years old and didn't know about why/how it happened...all I remember is the disappointment of waking up that morning to clear blue skies, and being upset about it (which proves snow weenieism is something you're born with, lol). But luckily I didn't know that folks just S (or was it north?) were getting hammered.
  14. NOOOOO sir! You know the rules: We urbanites don't get KUs after PD...so request denied
  15. But of course Actually when we delete this thread to start a new one so it'll trend better...we rename it the AFC championship thread!
  16. Then that makes even less sense. How are the anoms below normal, perfect looking pattern, yet no snow? And of the things that could make a storm rainy...would snow means pick up on discreet features like that? If this is an error I'm wondering why it's been repeated over 10 days of runs...Doesn't make sense.
  17. Alright grumpy. Ya didn't answer my question though... What exactly are you objecting to in psu's post?
  18. Why this time, though? He's just pointing out what could go wrong (as he usually does, lol). He doesn't bring up out of nowhere worries, but usually points out stuff with discussion of the models and such that may indicate something that has a chance (albeit small) of being a concern. Kinda feel like we need to be realistic, and if something COULD be a concern, we gotta temper expectations with that in mind.
  19. Man I hope not...mercy (goes to panic room) That would unfortunately answer "the question". So snow means can predict temperature too?
  20. I chalked that up to a Niño early Jan being a Niño early Jan, lol I'd like to see how many Niños actually produced in early January.
  21. Given all the fails the last 7 years, even something like this kinda brings on the "Oh look the other shoe dropping" when other things seem to be looking better. Not sure I can fully enjoy any of the good looks now knowing there's even a tiny chance the snow means are a red flag since they line up with what you've been talking about. Man...this is enough to make you pull your hair out, because we're kinda on the edge here, needing this season to produce...but all this with the foreboding "this may not work anymore" and it's mildly stressful. I hope we can get our KU MECS/HECS despite everything!
  22. I echo someone else who asked this earlier: What did those snow means show for last week before it happened?
