  1. Good morning Liberty and thank you for a wonderful reply. I enjoy interaction with singular minds like yours and others on the forum. In your case, unlike me, you don’t even need a search tool. Stay well, as always …..
  2. Good evening Liberty, BxE, Irish Julian. “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” It’s understandable that an extremely bright but impressionable young mind would be affected by this. I was 17 when I first heard it but I just ended up falling in love with Julie Andrews. As always …….
  3. Liberty I don’t mean to minimize the significance of your request but wouldn’t the difference geographically play more into the commonality of those occurrences? UHI differences also? As always ….
  4. Good morning Anthony. Its probably because everyone was online trying to order Will's swimsuit calendar. Stay well, as always ….
  5. Good morning gravity it brought to mind the saying “a little learning is a dangerous thing” from a 1709 Alexander Pope poem. The question remains, for some of us, ….. is more better? Stay well, as always …..
  6. Good morning all. Rain at the moment with light sleet accumulations in evidence. Ref: NWS, CPK, 31 degrees with unknown precipitation type (?) all other NYC Stations report freezing rain. 9:51 total liquid, .73. Below are photos of the sleet accumulations on the postage stamp and environs. Stay safe and warm, as always ..
  7. Thank you for the data. Within six days the highs and lows were 23 and 20 degrees apart, respectively. That’s impressive enough. As always ….
  8. Good evening all. A most unusual and entertaining banter page. Will is morphing into silly putty. Donut photos are being used to describe P Types and economics is generating weenies The NYC metro sub does not lack for creativity. Enjoy the warmth CPK hasn’t fallen below 60 for the last 19 hours, as always …..
  9. Will, If you plan it right you might get a dual endorsement from a the rock salt conglomerate and the pumpkin growers association. Posing you might be a challenge but with a bit of creativity, no problem. As always …

  12. Good morning BW. Is it possible for a pattern of this nature to continue into the warm season? It’s difficult to imagine a 7 to 10 day period in July/August recording highs of 66 and 96. As always ….
  13. Good evening Doorman. A question best answered by a porcine farmer. I remember, fondly, your original avatar. Some of us will always try to keep that door open. Stay well, as always ….
  14. Good evening BxE and noted. For some of us the weather is our lives. I’ll be disappointed if your first two sentences fail to garner multiple responses. As always ….
  15. Good afternoon gravity. The weather may not match but your shopping list looks to create a Biblical Boilermaker. Stay well, as always ….
  16. Good afternoon forky. A fellow Brooklynite, Ralph Green may beg to differ with you. And while forky is anxiously waiting for Billy Goat Gruff, I would like to thank Gravity for replying with an acceptable/favorite four letter word. Stay well all, as always ….
  17. Good morning forky. There is something or perhaps a saying about a pot and a kettle. I just can’t seem to put it together. As always …..
  18. Good morning Rjay. Often I sense the posts as boredom relief coupled with the desire for intense give/take discussion. Sadly, weenies are the given ratings of the discussion results. Stay well, as always …..
  19. Good morning E LI. That’s the closest depiction of present life expectations I’ve seen in quite awhile. Stay well, as always ……
  20. Good afternoon Will. Considering his avatar, doing so showed a lot of courage. Some members by their screen names alone, have an unfair advantage. As always ….
  21. Good morning Will. Your last sentence reminded me of the magnificent Mr. Paul Robeson. The ballad he immortalized in “Showboat” has a stanza that I find applicable to what you are saying and to our storm threads. “I get weary. Yes I’ am sick of trying. I’m tired of living and I’m feared of dying. But Ol’ man river keeps rolling along. As always ….
  22. Good evening Nibor. A possible replacement for the weenie tag or used as an insert when a post has to be pulled during ‘Hot Topic’ sequences. As always ..

  24. Good morning and thank you BW. I keep thinking that predictable atmospheric extremes = functional atmospheric insanity. I should keep my higher math deficiencies to myself but there’s no fun in that. As always …
  25. Good morning Liberty. Perhaps it glows. We probably wouldn’t last long enough to find out. As always ….
