Good morning Anthony. “Per cent ‘anni”. Be thankful you didn’t plan a cold season wedding. When you and your love are back from the honeymoon I look forward to the both of you discouraging any back door cold fronts that want to ruin any late spring warmth. I always like to believe that loving couple partnerships are a major contributor to the UHI effect. As always ….

Good evening JRP37. Nicely put …… when navigating the cold months and jousting with the models, the atmosphere will essentially react with ‘less than’ rather than ‘more’ of a definitive prediction. The major difficulty, it seems, is balancing between taking offense or being offensive. Have a good night. As always …

Good afternoon sw. Please keep up the clutter. At 74 I won’t take offense if you refer to me as the kid. Keep hale and hardy. I also love your trackless trolly avatar. Not too many here remember those. As always ….

Good morning jfk. Your thinking is understandable even if not widely accepted. For some of us the 38 pages is an exercise/adventure in therapeutic discussion/socialization which at its end, despite the outcome, leave, at least for me, a sense of satisfaction. Remain well. As always ….

Anthony, I thought you were in your mid twenties. I also remember an early, I believe, 70’s holiday storm ( before you were born ) that started as snow with extremely cold temperatures flipped during the night and less than 12 to 24 hours later we were eclipsing 50. Unc or Don could pin down the event if my between the ears vacancies haven’t imagined it, as always ….

Good frigid morning N&W. I remember nearly a half century ago before WWS and WWA’s were commonly used the ominous verbiage, as the frozen precipitation approached, would be “heavy snow warning in effect” and that warning threshold was 4 inches. As always …..

Good morning everyone. I’ve come to the personal conclusion that our forums Storm anticipation threads hold the key on how to avoid age onset dementia. Anthony, a fine author by the name of James Blish wrote a marvelous story called ‘Cities In Flight’ in it a device called a spin dizzy (made colloquial for the masses) was developed to move Manhattan Island. If you join forces with VBMX and create a similar device you could move the five boroughs, near suburbs and all of Long Island to the extreme north Maine Coast. We just rename ourselves the way way north NYC forum. Considering how the interpretation of any suggestion may be skewed I’d appreciate any hide out suggestions from any/all of the above members. Thank you all for another grey matter exercise morning. As always ….

Good afternoon John. I generally should but rarely do take the “read more before you post”, advice from the well versed forum members. For instance don’t ask i m b y questions and more. Be respectful to the pro Mets and harassed moderators and fellow forum members .. all easier said. I have found it a lot more fun to listen to the member opinions backed by various model opinions to be both educational and entertaining. I’ve actually learned a few things, very few, but still real. As you read you will feel the passion and strengths of the forum membership. Again my favorite. I look forward to the Hot topic red tag which usually appears when computer projections start having fun with us. Finally never take a weenie comment personally. Im sure all the givers have also been on the receiving end. It’s a badge of initiation so in your case well done along with your ‘like’ and ‘laughter’ comments. I prefer the weenie emoji rather than several other, less flattering that could have been used. Stay well, enjoy reading and ‘still’, never hesitate to comment when you feel the need. As always …

Good morning Unc. -15, 1934 … what amazing conditions allowed for such a drop? Either UHI was a non factor then or we missed -20 because of it. I remember my Dad telling me how, waiting for the 3rd Ave streetcar he watched the temperature dropping on a visible thermometer. He was 18 at the time. He told me he was coming home from work later going to school. The story was related to me because I was complaining about far less harsh conditions only ‘ just’ going back and forth from school. Lesson learned, mouth shut. As always ….

Good evening S19. Vincenza, my partner died in my arms, just short of our 45th anniversary. All we had, during the two year battle, was hope. I now cling to it alone and pray your final sentence comes true. Stay well and firm in your position/beliefs. As always …
