Good evening Anthony. I always felt the same way and would play carols as I was taking it down. My lost love knew how I felt but wanted the house in order and the children, including me, settled and focused. Vincenza bought the sign in the top memory room photo. As was her way, without a word, it just appeared. It makes me feel better, at holidays end, even to this day. The second photo is the little tree we enjoyed for our last Christmas together. She passed 31 days into the new year and I eventually moved it to our memory room. I keep it up and lit all year it blinks on and off, very slowly. Depressing, yes but forever no. Your future, Anthony, is bright and not alone. I keep my little tree up because it is all I have for a final Christmas memory and will keep it with me. Stay well and next when you look at your love remember the sign. “In the meadow we can build a snowman”. As always …..

Good afternoon Irish. Sometimes, with difficulty, I look back at the path I’ve taken seemingly without choice. Being alone, as my decline accelerates, it seems only with the interaction of some others, such as those on this forum, to help me remain alert and thinking. I think about paths such as the one you and others presently navigate. Looking at them keeps me from the danger of becoming self absorbed. I still will continue to believe in light and happy endings. Irish, all the positive energy I can generate I send to your mother and your entire family. Stay well, my friend. The world we woke to today was one of frozen beauty. Though it won’t last, it’s lesson will. We will all find peace. As always ….

Good morning WxW007. My gentle hope is that you and your family be blessed by kind memory and be embraced by peace. As always ……

Good morning D S, T H M. I sensed a person in pain with a need for contention when I, at one time, received a somewhat less than polite response. I just replied; I pray you eventually find peace and never heard again. As always …

Good morning Liberty. From my very limited understanding and the simplified, foe me, explanations of kind board members, I believe it was an atmospheric Christmas present from the 50th state to the 49th. As always …

Good morning Will. If the first sentence was physically true the second would become a self fulfilled prophecy. May you remain ‘Will’ and never change in the coming year. As always…..

Good morning C W. Damn, I have to work on my gullibility. I actually looked it up hoping they had a virility resort. As always ……

Good morning Anthony. When our wishes/dreams become intense we may even become nostalgic about the future. As always ……

As a guest yes. I go back so far that I remember an upset, very young, DT going after some one who said that he (DT) said uncomplimentary things about JB. JB would often read the forum pages and would comment on them ( especially the negatives ) in his ‘then’ free weather page. Near the end before that forums dissolution, sans moderation, it could have been called the age of vipers. As always ….

Good morning Will. I’m sure you could pen quite a tome describing weather forum post drama. I remember frequenting the north eastern site as a guest in the late nineties. A young DT was one of the contentious post contributors. Judging from the “extreme” give and take I’m not even sure if moderators were even present at that time. By todays standards and my recollection, it was the wild west of forum experiences. Stay well and I pray I’m still here when/if you announce 30. As always …

Good evening forky. I had Look it up. I wish his eyes had been open. The face is beautiful. The brief descriptions I read stated that the males often stay close to the breeding grounds as the females migrate. I sometimes wonder why we pursue artificial beauty to stimulate the senses when there is so much of the natural very close to us. As always …..

Good morning Rjay. Interesting, perhaps a bit frightening and certainly challenging for the folks living in the Fairbanks area. I took note of the degree day statistics. I would follow them for CPK in my younger days. I remember, at the time, you could judge the winter in the city by the final degree day season total. Over 5,000 indicated a cold winter and I believe 1,000 was the minimum cold indicator for DJF. Since July 1st we are at a total of 1,214 (newspaper stat.) As always ….

Good afternoon Don. It seems, locally, only the summer season can hold on to its identity. As always ….

Good morning and Merry Christmas. Thank you. This photo I’ve saved. It not only dragged me into the light this morning but gave me something to give my daughters when they tell me. “Well, what can we give you Dad” I’ll fund the ingredients if they can reproduce this masterpiece it will be well worth it. As always.

Good morning and Merry and Happy D. Even though many of us remain sheltered in the warmth of our coastal plain, that graphic is just how it should be and may the light colors intensify and spread as far as climatologically possible. As always … -
Good morning and merry Christmas BxE. Considering Rjays avatar you just might want to revise that advice. As always ….
