  1. I find the height determination in mountain state snowfall forecasts, very interesting. As for your front porch entertainment ,,,,,, at least your grizzlies don’t shoot back. Stay well, as always .…
  2. A picture is worth a thousand words…… as always …..
  3. Well Don. Accu weather seems to agree with you. Stay Weill, as always ….

    Winter 2025-26

Finally! ……………… a photo of the PAC Jet. As always ……
  5. You must realize that extreme statements ruled by passion are often, more than not, also worthless. As always …..
  6. Good morning everyone. The question/prediction of extremes can enhance passion. I viewed an accu weather advance forecast for October and it looked like an average high may fall, for my area of the Coastal Plain, a little over 67 degrees, for an average high. Granted that the long range forecast will probably change with every A W update. It’s still far from the low to mid 70’s average high that will probably be reached in the decades to come. Stay well, as always.
  7. Good morning Torch Tiger. I can understand the sentiment. As for Mr Epstein, I believe it’s best that he counts his blessings and keep sharing the photos. As always ….
  8. Accu weather apparently worried about early evening. As always …..
  9. Caution Liberty …… The coal that appears in your stocking may arrive already lit. As always ….
  10. Actually there is a small nugget of truth to the B W area. At least for south of Boston areas, we do often watch Blizzard occurring …….. somewhere else. As always ……
  11. Understood! I only meant it for the location accuracy to Bermuda. Sadly too many articles use this headline tactic even outside the weather sphere. Stay well, as always ….
  12. Absolutely right with the Bermuda comment. Stay well, as always.
  13. May you continue to ring and of course, post. As always……
  14. Agreed done. I, considering our record, do not have much confidence in an engineering fix to alter the results. As always …
  15. About seven years ago I had to have an oak removed from the postage stamp. I left the stump figuring it would be interesting to see which would disappear first me or it. This warm season the stump has been covered by an interesting absorbing fungi. When fresh it’s soft to the touch, then seems to harden. If it separates completely from the stump it becomes rock hard and darkens. Creatures, land and sky, including insects seem to avoid it. as always …..
  16. A fantastic gymnastic move. Pulling the hoodie over with her hands, jumping up and inserting her feet in the hood while still holding on, then flipping out of it. I was not skilled enough to capture the brief video (a grandchild wasn’t with me). The best I could do was the screen shots. The young lady was amazing. As always …..
  17. The coastal plain will celebrate with December holiday Luau’s. As always ….
  18. Anthony, I’m not well versed to any depth but the hope is that the stormy arrow line, with a prayer, is going to the bench mark. The reality, sadly, is that hugger or in land runner based on that arrow offers the more likely solution. However, all the NYC uber rich in their penthouses on billionaires row will likely see accumulating snow on their 1,000’ terraces while we, the great unwashed, take a cold one with rain. I know …. If I could comment on myself I’d give myself a weinie.
  19. Thank you Don, Tip. Sadly thought provoking! Perhaps an Electro Magnetic Pulse caused by a rogue high altitude nuclear device or a Solar Coronal Mass Ejection Event, even though not directly related to climate change, might be enough to knock us out of our ‘business as usual’ ennui. stay well, as always……
  20. Accu weather long range is more pessimistic, the lowest September temperature is 55 degrees., it holds off the first low in the 40’s until October 12th and the first low in the upper 30’s until November 11th. That’s as of today’s long range. Stay well, as always ….
  21. Perhaps the insects will inherit ……….. as always ………
  22. Sometimes …. It’s all that’s needed ….. as always……
  23. ………………………………………………. “why winter is even worth it ….…………………………………………… because of …”just hanging out having a great time and seeing the kids just enjoying themselves” …. your same 14 words. Stay well, as always ….
  24. To educate/help the non professional (and I don’t mean not intelligent) descriptive terms like heat dome are preferable to ‘ mid-tropospheric ridges’. When you’re trying to get the public’s attention on heart health would you talk about the potential of getting a ‘widow maker’ or a mycardio infarction. Which one is likely to keep the pedestrian reading? In either case both sides of the equation is equal. it’s actually good to have a person of different opinion in a group as a leavening agent. Providing that all discussions and retorts are civil and not just superficial. For that reason, during a period of time when our sub forum area may face a cold season event I look to read S19’s thought. and forky’s along with, like yourself, other well versed members..if all else fails I just listen to the ballad Turn, Turn, Turn and straighten myself out. Stay well, as always ……
