  1. Past hour
  2. About 60 degrees too warm for that stuff
  3. Rodgers to Steelers. You get to see him a couple times a year now
  4. Let's add Quakertown to the chilled man made adjustments to past history to show a warming trend.
  5. Can’t completely break it. They want that sucker refilled.
  6. Outdoor cat? The skunk I befriended handles most of the rodents. It comes for mealworms when the chickens free range so I have to set it out its own bowl every night. As long as i do that it behaves and leaves the girls alone. It does a good job keeping the yard clean and wiping out grubs too. For the first time there was very few japanese beetles here last year.
  7. Montauk 83, wow thats hot for them. Looks like Central Park peaked at 86 AQI is 147 which is pretty high.
  8. 98° in the car north CON. We’ll call it 96°. 89.3° will do it at home. Car thermo was 91° so the +2° checks out again.
  9. I peaked near 89 and now it has eased off a bit from the highs.
  10. I know, it's really not that far. CT's such a tiny state and all. But I do not currently have a car, so I'd have to rely on public transit to do it and it would take like 4+ hours to get to the shore by bus. It's insane out there in some areas. When I took a walk yesterday I saw it was accumulating in the grass, it's crazy! I'm so grateful I'm not allergic to it or I'd be having a very rough time right now.
  11. 95F here in the valley in E CT, Steama!
  12. Source: Ravens give WR Rashod Bateman 3-year, $36.75M extension https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/45456848/source-ravens-give-wr-rashod-bateman-3-year-3675m-extension I like it.. mostly. Good deal IF he stays healthy, and produces like he did last year(or better). Probably a bargain then.
  13. What a difference a day makes. Yesterday, temperatures here in coastal Rhode Island hovered in the mid- to upper-60⁰ F with RH in the 60% range. Today, temperature is hovering around 80⁰ F with 80% RH. Guess it'll soon be the time to put the WiseDry silica packs back into my guitar cases. My toys hate high humidity even more than I do.
  14. 91.4F at nearby PWS Davis. Seems likely. rare one here at 1K
  15. Today
  16. Legit. Widespread 90s. Car read 95 newton and Wellesley areas.BOS with an east wind and hours of M-U 80s . 50s and low 60s are probably finished.
  17. KFIT reading 93F. My daughter’s car thermo was reading 96 when I went past it on Rte Poop.
  18. Buttercups need to toughen up.
  19. Too bad it won't be back for awhile.
  20. You feel for those uninstalled’s Key Messages... * Anomalously warm night will create issues for those without proper access to cooling
  21. It's probably going to break records into the 120s in quite a few places. I wonder if people will post Twitter links here when it happens. I've been following models for a very long time, and I've never seen such a strong, elongated, persistent ridge this close to warm season on that side of the globe..
  22. KBS Double Oaked Bourbon Barrel aged Stout for HH. Never had this variant. Pretty good stuff.
  23. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kopperl,_Texas Shortly after midnight on June 15, 1960, a very rare meteorological phenomenon, a heat burst, struck the community when a dying thunderstorm collapsed over Kopperl. The storm had rained itself out, and with little to no precipitation to cool the resulting downdrafts, superheated air descended upon the community in the form of extremely hot wind gusts up to 75 mph (121 km/h). The temperature increased rapidly, reportedly peaking near 140 °F (60 °C),[3] 20° above the official all-time high for the state of Texas and exceeding the highest official temperature recorded on Earth. The storm, known as "Satan's Storm" by locals, soon became part of local folklore.[4][5][6]
