Yikes, I'm barely above them. I was thinking on how I was just NW of that good band two days before Christmas when SNYWX cashed in, the end of January event I was in between bands, there was this line of 'only' 13-14" than ran up the middle of Orange County into Ulster and then this week I was NW of the good band of snow. Still a solid winter but I keep just missing the bigger snow totals.

I’m just up the road in Attleboro on seekonk/pawtucket line and our totals are close. N PVD also had around 30-32”. I was in that main band all day.

10.5 - 11.5 in methuen by using a more protected spot on the ssw of my home....front of home had drifts to 24-30 inches.

I say 50. By radius I believe that would take you to Newburgh, Toms River, Riverhead LI, and Hackettstown NJ. Looking at that on a map it should probably be 60.

Do you think that 41 in Fall River is legit? I noticed its not on the interactive map and they didnt include it in the PNS debating whether to include it or not since it is the jackpot

AIFS jumped way south (400 miles 00z to 12z) for Thursday night after being so consistent, that model has is losing it's reputation for not being jumpy. Thursday night is on life support now.

I think MMU is right at 40. Wonder whom the highest and lowest in the NYC area is? (Like, go far out do we count in a radius from CPK, 30 miles? 45? More?) .

where in southbury though? west east? central?

If I had to make a guess I would say Thursday Friday is a mess, but we get a significant storm for most of us first half of next week. I would imagine that would trend north at this time of year.

5-6. Cold n dark

I knew this would be controversial lol. Don't get me wrong. That was a legendary winter. I just had more actual fun this winter. Being free of a job during winter definitely added points. I'm a fan of winter. I love cold, frozen lakes, gray cold days, snowcover that doesn't melt. The fact I chased probably added points too. I've experienced 135" of snow and hiked over 100 miles on snowpack/snowcreate. I just REALLY enjoyed the glacier and arctic flow from the nw. I had so many memorable experiences from that. Walking through wetlands on a path of ice (frozen creek) that was sparking like diamonds through the cat tails while surrounded by ridges covered in glistening icepack was surreal and magical.
