Was 92F earlier down to 82F now, The installers were able to get one of my units up and running and man does that put out some cold air.

If we could only find some actual real station data to use from someplace close to an actual NWS station that helps support these 1 to 4 degree annual average temp adjustments to these many NWS Cooperative Observer stations....we of course cannot find any of those - hence our problem! But if you have those please produce them as Charlie certainly never can seem to come up with any actual real stations with data....

Discussing the justification for corrections is irrelevant if your position is still that corrections should never be applied to fix biases, errors, and/or mistakes. I'm asking if you still maintain this position because it sounds like you are having second thoughts about it...which is good. But I'm not going to waste my time explaining how we can know what the biases and errors are if you don't think correcting them is ever justified.

Outdoor cat? The skunk I befriended handles most of the rodents. It comes for mealworms when the chickens free range so I have to set it out its own bowl every night. As long as i do that it behaves and leaves the girls alone. It does a good job keeping the yard clean and wiping out grubs too. For the first time there was very few japanese beetles here last year.

98° in the car north CON. We’ll call it 96°. 89.3° will do it at home. Car thermo was 91° so the +2° checks out again.

I peaked near 89 and now it has eased off a bit from the highs.

I know, it's really not that far. CT's such a tiny state and all. But I do not currently have a car, so I'd have to rely on public transit to do it and it would take like 4+ hours to get to the shore by bus. It's insane out there in some areas. When I took a walk yesterday I saw it was accumulating in the grass, it's crazy! I'm so grateful I'm not allergic to it or I'd be having a very rough time right now.

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday, temperatures here in coastal Rhode Island hovered in the mid- to upper-60⁰ F with RH in the 60% range. Today, temperature is hovering around 80⁰ F with 80% RH. Guess it'll soon be the time to put the WiseDry silica packs back into my guitar cases. My toys hate high humidity even more than I do.
