Ryan was just saying on the news that the rain looks like it's moving in but not reaching the ground and is creating rainbows. The sky is absolutely amazing. Also, there's just that feeling with the wind going and the sky looking the way it does that you know it's going to be a interesting weekend weather wise.

That’s the rain coming in. I just started to measure at my Cherry Grove station. Highest wind gust today so far 36 mph at 6 pm.

Recent passes of Hurricane Polo show flight-level winds around 150kt and pressure values of 909mb or a bit less. The TropicalTidbits satellite view now has a 914mb pressure shown. (not sure if this is the official value)

The WWS was great, but a little dry for me. Loved it but not my favorite year. At Dewey Beer Co now, and the aged pumpkin is silly good. Reminds me of the older, original Greater Pumpkins from Heavy Seas when they were good.
