  1. Past hour
  2. Decent soaking rain. Strong winds. Thunder continues all around me.
  3. Look like they will have the perfect weather for it during the next couple of weeks across our area per the Euro
  4. tor-warned cell from NYS continues on west of ORH. (West Brookfield-ish)
  5. With 91L kaput we will likely reach the historical peak of hurricane season (9/10-9/11) with no named storm in the Atlantic Basin. ACE season to date is now below normal. We're at 39 and normal is 47. Erin is responsible for 32 of those 39 ACE points. We're wasting peak season at this point so we're going to have some catching up to do if we want to get to normal which is 122. It still can be done though so we'll have to see what mid September into October can pull off. MJO forecast to go into more favorable phases by then but we've been playing a bit of kick the can on that so remains to be seen. Gut tells me watch out for something to lift out of the Caribbean toward the Gulf coast before all is said and done. I think if there is going to be a Major hit on the U.S. coastline this season it will be the gulf coast. Chances of an east major hit this season are low and decreasing for several reasons. Not expecting anything to get named over the next 5-7 days.
  6. Nice close strike just to the SW in the back woods
  7. I'm not overly excited about the line as it moves through here based on radar.
  8. After this line it looks to settle down for a while.
  9. A few drops with some moderate rain to go.
  10. Man the western Atlantic looks downright hostile the next 3 weeks besides home brew
  11. not your fault. I probably typed in the wrong thing. It took me to conservation area I think but when I arrived to where maps said it was I was surrounded by trees and didn’t see a driveway path anywhere
  12. pretty pedestrian event when the line came, a few gusts and heavy rain but now just constant rumbling of distant thunder, usually comes before the rain but now it's after, odd, also sirens here in Winsted for over an hour, something happened before the rain not sure what yet
  13. Ha. Sorta getting 7-10’d. Terrible.
  14. It doesn’t look like much except that one cell towards WeHa

  16. Warned TOL county now. We’ll see if anything happens. These usually end up just heavy rain and great lightning
  17. 0.01". Yeah, I don't know about anything else here. The radar over where we would need the development remains largely blank.
