We all thought the rates would overcome, but it seems warm air pooled just ahead of the arctic front, making it a bigger issue for the dmv. North to fdk and along i-70 seem to be doing fine though.

Started snowing here around 330 but at 34 and light intensity, lost an hour to non accum snow. Temp right at 32 now but mostly light snow outside of one moderate burst. Quarter inch or so on the deck and looks like some better returns on radar might be moving in shortly.

Snow is falling here. We'll see what we end up with.

Moderate, almost Heavy Snow at times on Barnegat Bay. Temperatures are certainly limiting accumulation. We will see if the colder airmass can push down through the lower layers before the heavier rates are drawn to the East.

36 and mostly sleet. Some slushy accumulation on grass. We have been about 2-3 degrees above forecast IMBY since yesterday afternoon, so temps have been an issue.

Not home but I’m eyeballing maybe 2-3” in Nanuet. Same down here in Yonkers although the “Heavier” bands have been more toward Yonkers. 3” on grass, pavement starting to stick finally.

At 5 am, about 3.0" otg, so another 0.7" the past hour and it's snowing fairly heavily (not crazy heavy but visibility probably 1/4-3/8 mile; temp holding steady at 32F. Radar looks good for another 2", hopefully.

Thought for sure would be much colder by now
