The purple colors in the snow usually mean sleet. This time it’s the upper range of the snow color scale. Deepens then stays sub 970mb as it approaches us and meanders along the coast *chef’s kiss* -
Just texted my sister and BIL who are in Selbyville, told them to send me videos

Wouldn't surprise me if some areas west of the Delaware experience blizzard/near-blizzard conditions just based on how tough it's been to nail down the specifics of this storm. Get ready folks, this is gonna be a wild one. -
No one knows

AKQ going Blizzard Warnings for central and southern Delmarva. Wow.

Reminds me of 1997 convective snow hosing only tunneling through a colder atmosphere -
Glad to see the comments about DT. He is despicable. And it's not always about his forecast. Predicting weather is a tough business and if you're in it and you make a prediction, you're gonna be wrong from time to time. It's how he goes about it. Hate all the times he would bash local Mets and the national weather service then his forecast would blow. He says that he will admit when he's wrong, but that's not truthful. I don't know how many times he's blowing a storm and then you don't see him for a day or two or longer because either he was sick or he had computer issues. I mean, yeah I guess it's possible but man it happened more than a few times. Coincidence? I don't think so. Just an immature man.

If the winds happen as modeled here, the Blizzard warnings for Kent and Sussex DE. counties would likely be expanded North to New Castle county in Northern DE.

You have a sharp eye. Note the purple/blue over the water, the pinks correspond to NW and SE borders where elevations go to 200+. Like a perfect topographic map. DC is essentially a bowl.
