Winds really picking up here gusting into the 30-35 mph range

Birds are going crazy in the woods. Apparently sharp drops in barometric pressure send them into a feeding frenzy. Most quick drops usually occur in the winter so i have never noticed.

Surprised they don't have it at the brewpub or the restaurant. If you go the brewery, get an aged bottle if they have it. Get a 120 too. Last time I was there they were 16 bucks. I went during Covid and bought a 2009 WWS and a 2013 120 min IPA.

The HRRR is similar with track but weaker. Both have a landfall near Monmouth County Sunday morning. By then it’s occluding.

Ah. I think I see it now. It's showing both wind speed and wind gust. Wind Speed: 23.4+20.2+23.5+27.4+20.4+21.7+23.5 Wind Gust: 53.7+42.1+51.2+58.4+43.2+41.2+41.8 Still not getting a mean wind speed of 17.8 though. I still like the visual/display!

that's exactly what it was like in the city too - you could hear the roar between the buildings, and occasionally those gusts would mix down to the surface and just tear through scaffolding, etc.
