80 Degrees to Ripping Snow: March 12th
dailylurker replied to SnowenOutThere's topic in Mid Atlantic
I've seen Denver go from 80 to accumulating snow within hours. Out there it can go from 80 to 15 degrees and be a blizzard. -
52 and rain
-
You can see the front come through the forum on this radar. https://weather.cod.edu/satrad/nexrad/?parms=LWX-N0B-1-24-100-usa-rad
-
46.4 dropping fast you nuts to the east should see some snow today. Enjoy
-
You are correct.
-
36 degrees around these parts. Gray says it should be 52. Not sure what that means for the rest of today. Edit: We are at the base of a hill. 500 feet of elevation makes a huge difference. That 57 is 2.5 miles away from me.

Shorts/ short sleeve sweaty dewy run to shoveling by evening

Snowy one ahead
-
now riding
-
Heavy rainfall currently. As im heading out down to 45 degrees.
-
And a B- is above average. So 1 storm above warning criteria and 2 that barely made it.
-
58° steam bath. You can hear the snow crying. Most of it annihilated.
-
Dropped 2 more degrees. No rain yet
-
I didn't hear anything.
-
That was my suspicion as well, though it is never noted on any of the PNS from BOX during that time and the data is missing in the now data F6. Do you think it would be fair just to label those as BDL on the maps im doing for that time? Ill wait to see what @H2Otown_WX says

We have got to somehow get this thing to stall over us with the snows. And pop a developing low off NC, and slowly move NNE and plaster the sub with a TROWAL of torrential, Glorious snow!

Pittsburgh/Western PA WINTER ‘25/‘26
Gordo74 replied to Burghblizz's topic in Upstate New York/Pennsylvania
So much for “beware the ides of March”. Fairly dry stretch seeming to settle in with a few temp swings but nothing crazy. weather.gov posted their meteo winter summary yesterday. Officially ended with ~44in. Better than any other winter in recent memory imo. -
Dropped from 64 to 57 in the last 20 minutes
