  3. What a difference a day makes...70s and sun yesterday, 60 at midnight, 32.4 and snowing now.
  4. probably trying to resolve the anachronistic circumstance of nearing solar max blazar energy dumping into meta-physically imposed January cold hell
  5. Actually, the cold will slow down some of the rampant warming of local waterways we've had. The creek at my school is waaaay warmer than it should be because the leaves are not out yet to create shade. It needs to cool down.
  6. well, I might otherwise be taken aback by the fact that we're going below freezing tomorrow night under a full on January thermal sounding structure ... buuuut, welcome to the biggest piece of shit geographical spring region on planet Earth - i.e., not surprising
  7. wtf is the hrrr doing later tomorrow.
  8. Radar showing precipitation barely making any eastward progression, I do wonder whether we get much out of this.
  9. Can definitely tell where the heavy rains have resided over the past several weeks by this map.
  10. And we should probably reflect in awe that a woman was involved -
  11. You can see him aiming for every winter off with a new child
  12. 31 here this morning. Looking like 26-28 tonight. Most of the trees have leafed out, some quite a bit. Not sure how bad this hard freeze will be on them.
  13. That band of showers hit the dust bowl of central NC and legit evaporated
  14. That’s 0.10” more than I’ve gotten all month! That’s a verifiable flood
  15. Low humidity has kept it in check for sure but yesterdays 94 was still way too hot for April
  16. Pretty smart of him to plan his baby in mid-winter. The model graphics at home are better than in the cruiser.
  17. Yes, the rain is needed, but not the windy 40's. This isn't early March, either. Upper 50's to low 60's would be plenty comfortable.
  18. Getting them in before ineedsnow gets his 36° flurries later
  19. Yeah it just hit 65 so I'll have to kick it on soon. Gotta go get some diesel too, the tank is down to about 4" and I really don't want or need 100 gal minimum.
  20. Damn, I got 3 weeks total for 3 kids.
  21. Lets do it Back to work for me anyway after off for 3 months.
  22. The front looks like it stalled out a bit. A few more hours of rain look likely per the current radar. Good beneficial rain.
  23. The rain is needed, so is cooler weather. This isn't July.
