There’s literally not a single weather station in or around the Harrisburg area that is anywhere near 30, much less above the freezing mark.

It’s ugly out most everything iced over. Just hope everyone keeps power. And if you don’t have to go out stay inside. Nut I burn sticks, mostly Cherry & Oak sometimes a little maple cause it’s easier to pick up.

so...there was concern about sleet at the end of the storm.....looking like an all night sleet fest to me around here. seen it a thousand times. hope it changes. sleet just isn't all that interesting to me. on any level.

Has been fairly light snow/sleet since about 5:10 pm - we have a dusting! 27/14F, so clearly nowhere near saturation yet.

20 years on weather forums and I never considered blocking anyone, but just straight up giving bad obs and I’m very close to having to do so with Ruin. 33 man c’mon.

Heavier rates are sleet just N of Trenton. Sneaky warm layer somewhere for sure, it's SN+ in LI. RM.

that's actually edison....but yeah not a good look right now. some say it will change over. i've not seen that often over the years....

Confirming the same in Morristown. All sleet at the moment

some are getting the heavier bands as sleet though, if i'm reading correctly.

I’m looking for the next band, short range guidance has some 1-2” hour rates coming over the next 2-3 hours so stay tuned. We have to get nailed while we can .
